On 5 June, a plenary consultation was held in the presence of the national and regional Presidents of Blood Donor Associations and Federations, the Directors of the Regional Coordination Structures, and representatives of the relevant scientific societies, the National Blood Centre, and the Ministry of Health. During the meeting, the final data on the collection and utilisation of red blood cells and plasma for 2025, together with the preliminary data for the current year, were presented and discussed.
The consultation also provided an opportunity to present new project initiatives, to review the progress of the communication campaign carried out in collaboration with the Ministry of Health, and to provide updates on the implementation of the new SoHO Regulation.
