The report “Demand for Plasma-Derived Medicinal Products in Italy. 2024” is now available online.
Building on previous editions, this Report, covering the year 2024 and also available in English, includes data on the demand for plasma-derived medicinal products included in the new regional tender specifications for the provision of plasma processing services under contract manufacturing arrangements.
The Report forms part of the established activities supporting the planning of plasma and plasma-derived medicinal product production, as well as the monitoring of pharmaceutical consumption and expenditure.
It continues the series of similar reports published for the years 2007 to 2023 and its primary purpose is to provide strategic guidance and tools to achieve and maintain regional and national self-sufficiency in plasma and plasma-derived medicinal products, in line with the objectives set out in the national planning framework.
